Parking

Parking in the hotel parking lot: 15 EUR / 24h / one car

For an additional fee, it is possible to conveniently park in the closed guarded hotel parking lot. Entrance to the parking lot from Kevade street.

It is also possible to charge an electric vehicle in this parking lot. The Enefit Volt phone app is required for charging.

 

Parking in Paldiski mnt 3 parking lot: 7 EUR / 24h / one car

The unattended parking lot is located in the courtyard of City Hotel Tallinn, right across the street from the von Stackelberg Hotel. It is possible to pay for parking at the von Stackelberg Hotel reception.

NB! The prices are eligible for vehicles that are up to 5 m long. Bigger vehicles can park on request.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available Mon-Fri 7:00-10:00, Sat-Sun 8:00-11:00.

We offer our guests a buffet-style breakfast prepared only from the best and freshest ingredients to guarantee a positive start to the day. As a result, we have created a rich buffet breakfast menu, where everyone can find something suitable.

 

If you have chosen accommodation that does not include breakfast, it is possible to enjoy breakfast for an additional fee of 12 EUR/person.

For walk-in guests, we offer breakfast for an additional fee 18 EUR/person.

Room service & Day Cleaning

We offer room service for an additional fee of 7 EUR.

It is possible to order breakfast, dinner and lunch into the room from the hotel’s restaurant.

Upon agreement with the reception, it is also possible to order other things into the room (e.g. romantic decorations, chocolate & champagne, wine).

 

Day Cleaning is offered every day until 17:00.

TOUR DESCRIPTION

Your guide will show you the best sights of Lower Old Town. You will admire the medieval city fortification wall, St.Catherine´s Passage craftsmen work and discover the location of the worlds first public Christmas Tree – Town Hall Square and Town Hall. The Town Hall Pharmacy is the oldest pharmacy in Europe that has continuously been in business in the same spot. There you will learn the secrets behind marzipan.

Our tour continues with a visit to the Gingerbread Art Exhibition. Everything you see at the exhibition is made from gingerbread. Although you probably will not see too many traditional gingerbread men or houses at this annual, modern art exhibit. This rather a very unique display showcasing anything from mythological characters to life-size gingerbread art. Every year the exhibition has a different theme and known artists, designers, and architects turn some 300 kg of dough into unique creations. While admiring the artwork you can hear music from local composers written specially for this event.

Gingerbreads were made already during the Middle Ages using wooden molds and elaborately decorated gingerbreads were considered works of art. Your guide will lead you through the art exhibition and fascinating history of gingerbread. Finally it´s possible to learn best tips how to make and decorate gingerbreads in a hands-on workshop.

Your journey of discovering Tallinn starts with a guided drive through the beautiful district of Kadriorg. This lovely baroque park, complete with a grand palace and rose gardens, was a gift from the Russian Emperor Peter the Great to his wife Catharine. The architecturally stunning KUMU Art Museum and our Presidential Palace and are also landmarks in this park.

In the Pirita district, by the sea, lies our famous Song Festival Grounds. Estonians often refer to themselves as a singing nation. This is an important expression of our national identity that has supported Estonians during the fight for independence since the early 1900’s.

We will stop at the specially constructed grounds where the Singing Revolution was born and where over 25,000 singing voices continue to echo the spirit of this nation every 5 years in massive song festivals. In this district, you will also visit the Olympic Village, where the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games sailing regatta took place.

Itinerary continues with a wonderful introduction to the local history and culture on a stroll through the medieval Old Town. We will enjoy the Town Hall Square where you will find Tallinn’s original Town Hall, the oldest continuously functioning pharmacy in the Europe and many other architectural treasures. In the Upper Old Town Toompea you can enjoy an amazing view overlooking the city.
